I’m heading to the Laurie Beechman Theatre for a special Mother’s Day reprise of this celebration of the astonishing creativity and heart of Elizabeth Sullivan. And she will be our special guest!
Shaped by a life on the Oklahoma prairie — and deeply informed by her spirituality — Elizabeth writes about family, love and loss, and the creative impulse. Her music has been performed in iconic venues including Carnegie’s Weill and Zankel Recital Halls, the National Arts Club and The Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room.
I’m again joined by guitarist Sean Driscoll, violinist Seoyeon Im, and pianist/Music Director Jon Weber. Jeff Harnar directs.

Shaped by a life on the Oklahoma prairie — and deeply informed by her spirituality — Elizabeth writes about family, love and loss, and the creative impulse. Her music has been performed in iconic venues including Carnegie’s Weill and Zankel Recital Halls, the National Arts Club and The Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room.
I’ll be joined by guitarist Sean Driscoll, violinist Seoyeon Im, and pianist/Music Director Jon Weber. Directed by Jeff Harnar.
It’s part of this year’s Winter Rhythms series at Urban Stages.

The three songs were recorded and originally released during the pandemic. Heading into the holiday season, I realized they each represent different facets of what we are meant to be experiencing at this time of year.

August 15, 2022: A Special National Arts Club Performance
I’m returning to the National Arts Club on Tuesday afternoon, September 20 at 2pm.
Joining me are musicians from my new album NOW THAT I HAVE EVERYTHING — arranger/pianist Tedd Firth, percussionist Rex Benincasa, bassist Jay Leonhart and guitarist Matt Munisteri — to perform the songs live. The program is hosted by author/journalist Will Friedwald, who wrote the album liner notes.

My second holiday recording has been released on all the major music platforms. A traditional Austrian carol and lullaby dating back to 1865, it features cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf.
